About the Item

This elegant Mid Century Modern walnut and taupe bench was realized in Italian, circa 1950. It features a sculptural high gloss walnut base composed of two adjoining inverse arch "v forms" that attach to an elegantly apportioned apron. The gently convex seat has been newly reupholstered in a luxurious taupe velvet. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful craftsmanship, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. Mint restored condition.
