About the Item

A remarkable pair of very low French style Salon chairs in striking paint. Pair of paint decorated fauteuils with oval cane back and a contrasting dark green leather seat with matching manchettes. The armchairs with web and coil construction, brass nail-head trim accent, carved medallions and the whole raised up on tapering fluted legs. Dimensions: 21 1/4" W, 25" D, 13" seat height and 31 1/2" H Condition: Please see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include flaking and minor paint losses especially to one chair, minor wear to leather. Please see photos for details of condition.
