A very good looking well made and nicely executed piece of English town house furniture. It is as mentioned very much in the Chippendale taste, the level of carving just screams his works. It has a nice bergere back panel and hand dyed cigar brown leather seat pad which has Chippendale floating buttons This chair can be used as an office or occasional decorative chair as intended, it really is a very fine thing indeed The timber has been waxed and polished, it has a lovely vintage worn patina all over that you can only achieve through honest age and fair use.
