George Nakashima, Ahmedabad grass-seated chair, circa 1964. Part of the Banda Gallery archive. Designed for the National Institute of Design management offices in Ahmedabad, this chair forms part of Nakashima’s mid-century production, defined by a synthesis of material integrity and precise handcraft.
