About the Item

"Sapporo" chairs, Mario Marencofor Mobil Girgi, cognac leather and beech, Italy, 1970, set of 10 (8 now available) The most iconic model of the famous Italian architect and designer Mario Marenco (1993-2019). These are important and comfortable chairs, which in style are very reminiscent of the "Africa" chairs by Afra and Tobia Scarpa. Mario Marenco used to work in collaboration with some of the best manufacturers of the period, such as Artflex, Artemide, Poltrona Frau. The cognac-colored leather is the original one and shows numerous signs of age and wear. We have preferred to keep the seat in its original patina, but our workshop can reupholster these chairs with black or cognac leather if the customer requests it To reupholster the chairs in your favorite leather or fabric color there will be no additional costs
