About the Item

Magnificent and rare Mid-Century Modern FM05 wire chair. Design by Cees Braakman for Pastoe. Striking Dutch design from the 1950s. Original sculptural black lacquered steel wire shell supported by a slender original black lacquered base. Comes with the original backrest and seat and both of them are re-upholstered with a purple Kvadrat fabric. This wonderful Mid-Century Modern FM05 wire chair is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The chair can be used as a dining room chair, occasional chair or as a statement accent piece! A real eye-catcher in your home or office.
