A Fabulous French Leather Club Chair, Alpine Model, Circa 1950’s This stylish and rare Alpine model has been beautifully preserved. The model itself would have been made in very small numbers leaving very few left in existence and certainly not in this beautiful original condition. Cleaning and nourishing has exposed a mellow patina and it’s evident that the hides used were of a the highest quality. This is a very lovely example of a single chair that is comfortable and has a timeless design and character that would grace any setting. Please contact us for international delivery, as quotes vary, and we aim to get the most competitive quote for you. We've been sourcing and selling early 20th Century and antique French furniture for 20 years. All of our pieces are sympathetically restored. We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France. In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used. In addition, the leather on our chairs is always nourished and the upholstery cleaned. Our customers range from private homes to hotels and clubs, film and fashion shoots.
