Solid oak vernacular chairs of flat plank construction featuring carved splayed cross form legs, tusk tenons (wedge joints) and carved hand-holds. Potentially of mid century Dutch origin, the chairs have an architectural modernist sensibility. Dimensions (cm, approx): Height: 88 Width: 33 Depth: 36 Height to seat: 44 Condition: In fair condition for year with various minor surface imperfections. One chair is missing a wedge to the back but remains structurally sound.
