About the Item

Group of 6 chairs model Cavour designed by the Architetti Associati collective consisting of Vittorio Gregotti, Lodovico Meneghetti and Giotto Stoppino and produced by SIM (Società Italiana Mobili) between 1959 - 1960. The frame is made of curved solid walnut wood with upholstered seat and back. It is an iconic piece of Italian design, also cited in Giuliana Gramigna's prestigious "Repertoire of Italian Design 1950-2000" as a significant example of domestic furniture of the period. The overall condition is very good, we recommend a resurfacing as it is still the original one.
