A rare and sculptural set of four dining chairs with armrests from the iconic ‘Strip’ series, designed by Gijs Bakker for Castelijn in the 1970s. Executed in richly stained dark-brown ashwood, these chairs exemplify Bakker’s architectural, conceptual approach to furniture design. Bakker—best known as a co-founder of Droog Design—crafted these chairs with interlocking wooden slats, forming bold, graphic silhouettes that feel both minimalist and monumental.
