About the Item

Breaking all of the established codes, the polyurethane ORA-GAMI chair, original design, true icon of the collection "Objets Singuliers", is characterized by the purity of its line and its graphic volume. As if suspended in air, it is the result of a true technical feat. Made from a single sheet folded and worked by bending, the armchair and its footrest, already a perfectly geometric cult shape, appear to levitate due to a full-size fake base rigidified by a visible frame. These timeless ergonomics play on the mix of rigidity and suppleness, and characterize the visionary gesture of Ora ïto. Satin finished in black and inside in leather. Dimensions Armchair W65 D70 H 74.5 cm Seat H : 44 cm Seat D: 53cm Footstool W43 D53 H43 cm Designer Ora Ito Ora-Ito, born Ito Morabito on April 22, 1977, in Marseille, France, is a renowned French designer celebrated for his innovative and minimalist approach to design. Educated at the École de Design in Nantes and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Ora-Ito's work is characterized by its sleek, minimalist style and a focus on merging form with function. He often explores the boundaries between technology, art, and industrial design. His designs span various fields, including furniture, consumer products, and architecture.
