About the Item

Pair of lounge chairs, fabric, wood, France, 1930s/1940s Understated elegance is the primary impression these French Art Deco lounge chairs convey. Visually composed with restraint and clarity, they demonstrate that comfort is not treated as secondary, but integrated as a fundamental aspect of the design. The curved armrests introduce a sense of drama and transition into the backrest with a clearly defined rounded form. Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains threadbare upholstery with wear marks. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well. Kindly reach out to our design specialists for more information.
