About the Item

This Danish Modern leather and chromed steel folding chair known as the "Z Down" chair was designed in 1968 by Erik Magnussen. It was then produced throughout the 1970s by the Danish manufacturer Torben Ørskov. The frame consists of two pieces of folding tubular steel in a chrome finish that are joined by the newly produced thick cognac leather seat and back with hand-sewn, saddle stitching. This light weight, easily moveable chair offers an abundance of style for any use.
