1970s Thonet-Style Rocking Chair, Brass & Wicker, Mid-Century Modern rocking chair from the 1970s inspired by the iconic bentwood designs of the 19th century, this chair showcases the enduring influence of Thonet’s innovative craftsmanship, reinterpreted through a 1970s lens the timeless aesthetic. The graceful curves of the brass structure create a fluid, sculptural form that enhances both comfort and visual appeal. The seat and backrest are crafted from traditional Vienna wicker, Minor damage to seat (see photo) style post modern design rocking chair having a lesser seen brass frame, with caned seat and back rest, with solid wood armrests.
