About the Item

Beautiful vintage cognac leather Ligne Roset Marsala set in its original leather and in completely original top condition. WOW. How beautiful leather can be. This authentic Ligne Roset Marsala set is without a doubt one of the most beautiful Marsala sofas we have ever seen. Precisely because this set is still entirely finished in the original leather , it has developed an exceptionally beautiful patina over the years. The leather is alive, radiates warmth, and gives the whole set that rich, characterful look that only time can create. The Marsala was designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset in the 1970s. Ducaroy is one of the great names in French design and played a key role in the development of the modern, informal seating area as we know it today. The Marsala is one of the early models to utilize the new materials of the time, including molded plastic , which gave the design its typical round, protective, and simultaneously inviting shape. What makes this sofa so special is not only its appearance, but also its seating experience. The generous seat , the comfortable backrest, and the excellent head support ensure a relaxed and natural sitting posture. This is a living room where you don't just sit, but where you unwind completely. Ultimate seating comfort. The design language of the Marsala is powerful and soft at the same time. The voluminous lines give the ensemble a sculptural presence, while the cognac-colored leather lends the set a warm and almost effortless elegance. It is precisely this combination of comfort, form, and material that makes the Marsala a lasting classic. The leather has acquired a beautiful patina over the years and is in top condition . Everything about this set exudes care, authenticity, and quality. Looking for a Marsala salon? Then this is the one you need. Because you won't find him like that easily.
