About the Item

Pair of late 18th Century Gustavian side chairs. Dry scraped to original paint and stabilised for every day use. Made by master craftsman Johan Erik Hoglander in Stockholm (1750-1813). Considered to be one of Sweden's best chair makers during the 18th Century.
