About the Item

1970s vintage modular Tappo sofa designed by American designer John Mascheroni for Vecta, Italy. This four-piece example features the Tappo series’ signature rounded, sculptural form with softly contoured backs and seats. The modular design allows the pieces to be arranged in multiple configurations, making it well suited for both residential interiors and design-focused commercial spaces. Recently professionally reupholstered in a neutral textured fabric, giving the sofa a clean, contemporary presentation while preserving the original 1970s silhouette. Approximate measurements for the four-piece configuration shown: 100 in. W × 36 in. D × 29 in. H. Seat height: 15 in. This example has been recently professionally reupholstered in a neutral textile, offering a clean and contemporary presentation while preserving the integrity of the original design. The modular elements allow for multiple arrangements, making the piece well suited for both residential interiors and design-focused commercial spaces. Approximate measurements for a four-piece configuration as shown: Overall width 100–108 inches, depth 32–34 inches, height 26–28 inches, with a seat height of approximately 15–16 inches.
