Wim Rietveld '447' Sofa in Red Fabric for Gispen, The Netherlands, 1950s. Beautiful simple and straightforward design by Wim Rietveld for Gispen in the 1950s. Upholstered in a red fabric, this sofa mostly demands attention by its color. The design itself is very modest and timeless, quintessentially mid-century Dutch design. Combined with the original moveable armrests, this simple sofa can be transformed to a very interesting and comfortable piece of design. The upholstery shows signs of wear, mostly on the corners. The sofa can be reupholstered in a fabric of your choice if requested. Please ask us for the possibilities. At DEZAAK DELUXE we try to find items that are out of the ordinary.
