About the Item

Turned from solid American Black Walnut, the Vertere Midi Stool projects an exaggerated sculptural silhouette fully accentuating the stunning beauty of walnut. Our recommendation is an oiled finish to bring out the warmth and variation of the grain. Shown here in natural oiled walnut and semi aniline chestnut leather. Seat pad features a twin needle top stitched detail. This piece is expertly lathe turned by hand from thick sections of solid seasoned timber, so some movement or surface checking is to be expected. Also available as a larger Stool and an Occasional Table. (Both listed) Handmade to order at Stuart Scott, Wiltshire, England. Signed and individually numbered. Each Stuart Scott piece is built by hand in our workshop in Wiltshire, England. Nothing is mass-produced. This ensures complete attention to detail, structural integrity and sheer build quality. We never compromise. When we finish each piece, it is signed and numbered: a unique handmade masterpiece.
