About the Item

Pierre Jeanneret was a Swiss modernist architect and designer best known for his work in Chandigarh, where he collaborated closely with his cousin, Le Corbusier, in the 1950s. While he contributed significantly to the city’s architectural planning, Jeanneret also designed a wide range of furniture for public institutions, including schools, government buildings, and administrative offices.
