Trasiego barstool by Arturo Verástegui Dimensions: D 47 x W 53 x H 99 cm Materials: oak wood. High dining chair made of natural white oak. Sebastián Angeles is an Industrial Designer originally from Mexico City who graduated from the Anáhuac Mexico University in 2017, but his career began years before, so at twenty-six, Sebastián is already director and co-founder of the Dorica brand, a member of Mass Collective and now one of the youngest designers in the Breuer catalogue. Sebastián's work reflects the search for new sensations through the objects of everyday life, based on the belief that the union of basic elements can create completely new objects and sensations. Sebastián believes that beauty is not exclusive to complex forms, but is also found in the configuration of subtle forms, resulting in objects that people make their own, acquiring qualities that go beyond luxury. Breuer is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of custom furniture and spaces, which began in 1993 in Mexico City under the direction of Arturo Verástegui. Since the beginning of the nineties Arturo Verástegui, founder of the company, began his career in the world of furniture: beginning with the distribution and manufacture of residential furniture and with more than a decade of experience in commercial furniture, Breuer was born with a strong Industrial and trade vocation. That is only one part of our history, the other began almost 100 years ago with the architect and designer Marcel Breuer, from whom our name arises. But it is not only the name that we take from Marcel Breuer, but also his modernist ideals and the desire to implement the latest in manufacturing technology is his designs.
