About the Item

Christian Durupt, a skilled French cabinetmaker who worked in the 1960s and gained renown for his exquisite creations in solid wood. Notably, he collaborated with Charlotte Perriand in designing ski resort accommodations in the Savoie region. Steeped in history, this exceptional suite of stools originates from the Méribel ski resort in France. Low Tripod Stool by Christian Durupt, collaborator of Charlotte Perriand in the design of the Les Arcs resort. These stools stand out with its beautifully aged patina and distinctive clover-shaped seat, meticulously crafted from solid oak. Provenance: Chalet adjacent to Charlotte Perriand's refuge in Méribel.
