About the Item

A 19th Century Windsor armchair raised on slender turned legs connected by a bent-wood "crinoline" stretcher. The shaped seat in a nicely figured elm; the rest of the chair in yew wood. With a shaped and fretted back-splat. Terrific color and patina. In good, usable condition. One of the short "torpedo" stretchers is replaced.
