About the Item

“Suvretta” is a Romansh word (language spoken in Engadine) that means: “above the small forest”. Like rows of overlapping trees, the books placed on the green shelves of Suvretta take on a rhythmic vertical and diagonal pattern. A bookcase in wood covered in decorative laminate. Suvretta features unconventional shelves, as the corners in all the rows are different from each other. The three dividing elements of the vibrant green shelves of Suvretta alternate in an inclined and vertical manner, generating a simple and dynamic composition emphasized by the white background and framed by the decoration of the plastic laminate with the “Bacterio” texture (also designed by Sottsass).
