About the Item

A Louis Philippe period buffet handcrafted in walnut. Two hand dovetailed drawers over cabinet doors are decorated with book matched burled walnut panels. Inside is housed a single shelf, and cabinet doors with beveled escutcheons lock with the original brass key. The piece rests on beveled block feet. Hand signed in the drawer and on the back of the cabinet door by the "menuisier ebeniste" of Notre Dames de Langueurs, in Pays de Loire, Atlantique, France.
