About the Item

A striking early 20th-century Dutch Colonial cabinet, sourced from Central Java, Indonesia, and selected for its sculptural presence and intricate craftsmanship. Teak wood finished in a deep red color, with polychromed frames and carved gilt trim. Bonnet top. Ornately carved cabriolé legs and trim with ball and claw feet. Two shelves behind the doors and two bottom drawers with original hardware. A one-of-a-kind statement piece that anchors a room with history and character. Very good condition for its age and use. Dimensions: 59" wide, 28" deep, 92" height.
