About the Item

A rare roll top tambour desk/secretary in walnut with an extendable writing surface. As the tambour door opens, the writing surface which is connected to it, becomes exposed. The desktop can me used at any interval desired the base cabinet and top cabinet are independently constructed. The base cabinet has 5 side by side storage drawers, which can be used without the desktop as a stand alone set of drawers. The top is fitted with two drawers above and an open space below. That surface area has an aluminum pencil/pen tray. Beneath it are 4 sliding trays which are concealed by two sliding aluminum panels? a brilliant compact roll top desk design, classic in every detail, with a modernity unique to Frattini? It is perfectly refinished with oil and wax???
