About the Item

This chest of drawers in the British Colonial style is a delight to behold with its elegant lines, organic patterns and blackened finish! Set on bamboo frame the front, sides and top are covered in wickerwork, which gives it a beautifully textured and natural look - especially with the natural tones of the materials showing through! The bentwood braces on the lower end of the frame lend additional elegance and lightness to this dresser, while the framed drawers with their bamboo handles visually divide the wickerwork on the front and thereby making it a refined and sophisticated piece of furniture. This chest of drawers is in very good and stable condition with the obvious cosmetic signs of wear and some scratches. The wickerwork is in great condition and all drawers move easily - a sign that this was masterfully handcrafted!
