About the Item

A stunning two part tiger maple highboy hand crafted by New Hampshire based manufacturer D.R. Dimes, its upper case with a molded cornice surmounting three fitted drawers, the center featuring a carved radial fan, over four graduated long drawers, over a lower case with waistmolding, over a single long drawer and three fitted drawers, the center repeating the carved radial fan, over a scalloped skirt, all supported by four cabriole legs with pad feet . The piece is adorned with brass batwing brasses, and the back has a DR Dimes benchmark brand and label. A fine example of true quality craftsmanship in the Chippendale style with amazing wood grain! This 20th century piece is in very good overall condition, with minor rubs on the feet, and other minor surface imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use.
