About the Item

Elegant Italian chest of drawers or sideboard attributed to Paolo Buffa, crafted in the 1950s and distinguished by its refined proportions and sophisticated material selection. Executed in fine amboyna wood with warm patinated tones, the piece features a gently curved front and six drawers adorned with elegant brass handles framed by refined double moldings. The protruding sabre-shaped legs are enriched with delicate brass sabots, while the shaped black glass top, finely contoured along the front edges and completed with a rear frame, adds a striking contrast to the warmth of the wood. Recently restored by a skilled craftsman, the cabinet is presented in excellent condition, ready for use in sophisticated interiors. Coordinated nightstands are also available upon request.
