Sourced in Provence, France, this mid-19th century Louis Philippe commode is crafted in walnut veneer and topped with its original white Carrara marble slab featuring clipped front corners and delicate gray veining. Its restrained silhouette, clean architectural lines, and balanced proportions exemplify the understated elegance of the Louis Philippe period. The commode features four drawers, including a shallow top drawer above three full-width drawers, offering generous storage. Each drawer is framed by finely molded panels and retains its original escutcheons, working locks, and two original keys. Beautifully figured walnut veneer with warm honey and caramel tones extends across the drawer fronts and side panels, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood.
