About the Item

Solid oak chest of drawers with three drawers, Louis XIII style, 18th century period. The silhouette is sober and stocky, characteristic of the Louis XIII repertoire. The drawer fronts are decorated with molded relief scrolls, arranged in three horizontal registers. The side panels have a molded arcade decoration. The piece of furniture rests on four turned ball feet, typical of the style. The brass handles with floral rosettes are elements brought back later, confirmed by the seller. The construction of the back is traditional, in raw planks assembled with old forged nails. The interior of the drawers reveals wide dovetails as well as traces of aging. The visible parts have an old patina of good quality. Dimensions: H. 100 cm – L. 146 cm – Estimated weight: 80 kg. Delivery possible, contact the seller for details.
