Designed by John Herbert for Younger in the 1960s, this sideboard is one of the finest examples of the fusion of British design and Scandinavian influence that characterized much of British furniture production during that period. The project stands out for its natural balance between functionality, visual lightness, and attention to proportions, without resorting to superfluous decorative elements. Teak wood adorns the entire structure with warm tones and continuous grain patterns that accentuate the piece’s horizontal lines.
