About the Item

George Montague Ellwood (1875–1955) for J. S. Henry. An Arts and Crafts oak bureau with a shaped pediment and floral fretwork to the upper and lower sides. The fold-down writing area is supported by pull-out slides with candle caps above, over two drawers and a central cupboard, with open storage sections to each side.
