About the Item

Stunning Formanova desk by Gianni Moscatelli. Original Formanova tag dated and signed 1970, Italy. Newly refinished in a high gloss Ebony polished finish. Right side of desk has a floating pedestal with three pull-out drawers refinished in a caramel wood finish to contrast with the Ebony finish throughout. Left side of desk has a long return also with three pull out caramel finish drawers as well as a caramel finish sliding door that moves to hide one of two open compartments. Both sets of pull out drawers are lockable. Visitor side of desk features two open cubby holes for books or art. Thick slab desktop completes the desk perfectly.  Perfect balance and aesthetic embodied in this desk will elevate any home or office. Steel in good vintage condition with wear as shown. Excellent scale. Made in Italy, 1970. Desk chair opening 27.5" wide.
