About the Item

Dry bar console cabinet circa late 1930's early 1940's derived from a skilled Italian craftsman, this exceptional bar cabinet excels in form, use of materials, composition and craftsmanship reflecting the design principles of the Art Deco era. This item is characterized by a geometric arrangement of shapes. The compartment is defined by clear, linear lines executed within a square frame divided into three storage spaces. The console table base has elegant tapering supports finished in "legno grissinato" vertical ribs. The upper cabinet finished in twelve paneled mirrored front with turned wood knobs and sitting on two drawers with vertical biscuit pulls. The interior is finished with glass shelves in solid brass L angled mounts and horizontal brass rods on the locking doors. Top and bottom are connected not separate. If requested we can line the back of the interior middle cabinet with mirrored tile (see last image).
