Feno Modular Shelf II by Frau Caze Dimensions: D 37 x W 120 x H 37 cm (Sliding door module), D 37 x W 120 x H 37 cm (Module 3 compartments), D 55 x W 120 x H 2 cm (Shelf), D 37 x W 120 x H 44 cm (Working module). Materials: Natural spruce. 1 x Sliding door module. 2 x Module 3 Compartments. 1 x Shelf + 9cm squared timber. 1 x Working module with curtain rail. The individual elements of the modular shelf unit can be lined up or stacked on top of each other without tools – squared timber serves as spacers and connectors. The vertical modules can also be used as a sideboard or bench. 2-dimensional shelves can be installed with a higher squared timber connector as flat shelf compartments. Although Berlin has been her home for many years, Carolin – the designer behind Frau Caze, with “Caze” being a fusion of her first and last name – has never been one to stand still. She has traveled the world relentlessly in search of inspiration for her work. These travels have greatly influenced her unique sense of atmosphere and texture, as well as her concern for our planet – Frau Caze places a great emphasis on sustainability, quality, and functionality. Currently, Carolin splits her time between Berlin and Lake Constance, and has devoted herself to furniture and interior design ever since studying design at the FH Potsdam and the Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial in Rio de Janeiro until 2012. Founding Frau Caze in 2016, her work pays tribute to her love of natural, high-quality materials as well as sustainable, responsible craftsmanship – including ethical treatment of all people involved in production.
