About the Item

An English Regency mahogany sideboard buffet of exceptional quality from the early 19th century. This sideboard is veneered in very nice mahogany, banded in satinwood and rosewood with ebonized raised carving adorning the facade. The bronze feet and pulls are very fine quality as well. The secondary wood is oak. and the back appears to be in pine.

  • Condition:
    Repaired: We have had the missing banding replaced that is missing in the photos. Photos of the restoration shown in last photos. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. There is some satinewood trim missing as shown in the photos, which we will have professionally replaced. It also has a missing key esutcheon on the right pedestal. A few old veneer repairs and surface scratches consistant with age and use.
