About the Item

The round top a white marble, crisply edged and set above a beautifully grained mahogany or rosewood veneered apron. The base features a fluted black column rising from a triangular plinth, terminating in three outward-sweeping legs on bun feet. The contrast between the dark ebonized column and the warm wood veneer gives it a refined Empire sensibility.

An elegant antique French Charles X mahogany center table, featuring a round top with beautifully figured mahogany veneer and a refined pedestal form with a fluted design.
