Designer Fulden Topaloğlu explains the inspiration behind the design: “Arkhe Collection is a tribute to the beautiful amphitheaters dispersed throughout the Mediterranean geography. As a lucky kid growing up in the Aegean coast, the visits to these archaeological sites was an indispensable tradition of our family summer vacations. These visits always left me in awe, as the imagery and sensations of visiting these majestic remains of ancient times always gave a larger than life feeling to the mind and soul of that little kid I was back then. Looking back, I must add that the feeling changed only a little. Arkhe collection is a tribute to these magical ruins of my childhood memories and to all the history, culture and myths they whisper to our collective consciousness.” Arkhe coffee table is a graceful combination of functionality, simplicity and sculptural posture. The natural beauty of oak, exquisite craftsmanship and the inspiration coming from stunning amphitheaters of old times gives this table its timeless appeal. The design plays with geometry to create unique surfaces that appeal to the sight while dividing the table surface into areas with different functions. Produced by skilled craftsman out of solid oak, Arkhe coffee table also has different geometric variations as well as dimensional and material alternatives to offer answers for different spatial needs and tastes. Material: Solid oak Dimensions: W 102 cm, D 102 cm, H 35 cm (Table top diameter: 90 cm / 35.4 inch) Customization is possible in dimensions. As the item is made completely of hardwood, some movement and cracks are normal and can be expected as a response to climate and humidity changes.
