About the Item

This large and impressive coffee table was made in France in the 1960s to a luxurious design, in the manner of Baguès. The base is made from solid brass with a polished finish, with faux bamboo detailing. The supports radiate outward from a central column beneath the glass, creating a symmetrical star-like framework. Gentle arcs of brass connect the upright supports, softening the geometric layout and adding visual flow. The new, bespoke clear glass top is secured in the centre and rests on the legs.
