About the Item

This exceptional mid-century square coffee table was designed by Poschinger for the Vario Pur-Möbel line during the 1970s. The fixture features a bold, graphic low-slung silhouette framed by a molded polyurethane or acrylic structural body finished in a subtle, sophisticated pale gray enamel that grounds any interior space with space age modern warmth. Detailed with a continuous, softly rounded perimeter and sleek integrated waterfall legs, the frame highlights the innovative, seamless material solutions that defined premium German modular furniture design from the era.  The molded frame is masterfully paired with an inset, bronzed smoked glass tabletop surface. This dark translucent glass pane catches and diffuses light into a brilliant, moody ambient reflection, showcasing the era's signature style of blending high-gloss industrial polymers with sleek, geometric smoked glass.    Wear is consistent with age and use.
