About the Item

In this listing you will find a striking postmodern coffee table by Hohnert Design, Italy, dating to the late 1970s–1980s. The piece is distinguished by its bold geometric composition and refined material contrast, characteristic of Italian design of the period. The square top is crafted in beautifully figured light travertine (or marble), softly rounded at the edges and inlaid with a minimalist linear grid in dark stone, creating a subtle architectural motif across the surface. The stone top rests on a solid, sculptural pedestal base executed in richly grained wood, providing a warm counterpoint to the cool mineral surface above.
