About the Item

The Mastercraft "Trilobi" is a highly sought-after, mid-century modern designed table from the 1970s. Originally designed by Ringo Starr and Robin Cruikshank as the "RoR" table, it was later licensed to American maker Mastercraft. It features triangular columns, typically supporting a glass top. Mastercraft brass tables were produced in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Founded in the 1940s by brothers Charles and William Doezema, the company became renowned for luxurious, Hollywood Regency-style furniture crafted from exotic woods, glass, and high-quality brass.The Doezema brothers hailed from a long line of cabinetmakers and returned from WWII with a vision to create furniture with a cosmopolitan, international flair. Their tables often incorporated intricate motifs, such as Chinese Chippendale styles, geometric forms. This can be viewed and at The berkshire galleries in great barrington , massachusetts.
