About the Item

A pair of impressive giltwood and painted monoped console tables with inset marble tops. The half octagonal tops have a deeply molded edge with inset grey and white marble. The apron has deeply carved gilded decoration on a painted background and is supported on the outstretched wings of an gilded eagle above a leg which terminates in a claw holding a painted orb.
