About the Item

Antiques of London A sleek and striking media console crafted by renowned Danish designer Jacob Jensen for Bang & Olufsen, circa 1980s. This piece displays elegant minimalism in its structure—featuring rich rosewood and brushed steel (or aluminium) construction, clean lines, and practical form. The top surface and backboard are veneered in beautifully grained rosewood, while the angular frame and legs are crafted with contrasting metallic elements. Functional details include cable management ports and adjustable mounting fittings—clearly intended for hi-fi equipment integration. Its design perfectly balances sculptural aesthetic with audio functionality, a hallmark of Bang & Olufsen’s engineering ethos. Only some separators that would go in between, are missing. It is used to store media upright, however it can be used differently. Please carefully examine the pictures to see the condition before purchasing, as they form part of the description.
