About the Item

18th Century walnut bureau inlaid with herringbone, having a wonderful figured fall opening to reveal a lovely fitted interior, with various drawers, compartments and a well, the bureau having a combination of two short over two long oak lined drawers with brass plate handles and escutcheons, double D moulding, brass carrying handles on each side, standing on bold turned feet. Circa 1750.
