About the Item

Rare early 1900s Gustavian extendable dining table with top grade very quilted golden birch veneers in a deep oak colour polish Lovely pyramid fluted legs with a rosette detailing and brass feet. It is approximate 110 cm in diameter . It seats 4 and has an extending mechanism underneath but no extra leaves so there is a visible join across the centre of teh table. As with all natural wood dining tables of the type the veneer on the leaves is straight grain rather than quilted and the color has sun faded slightly with age. NOTE = Once purchased the table will be FULLY repolished to remove any marks - we can also repolished to a different color of your choice for an extra cost. Very sturdy piece ideal for everyday use and a lovely piece of design. 18-21 day prep time prior to shipping

    Repaired: it has probably had some small repairs during its life. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. Once purchased the table will be repolished to remove any marks and so the leaves more closely match the colour of the main table but we can also repolish to a different colour of your choice for an extra cost. There may be some small marks of use.
