About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely Thomas Chippendale style extending occasional table in very fine mahogany This is a very well made, important looking occasional table. The mahogany is some of the finest I have seen, it has a wonderfully rich grain. The table is fret work carved on all base panels in the Chinese Chippendale manor. You have a large storage space to the bottom with one faux and one real drawer to the top In terms of the condition, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it may have normal age and use related patina marks here or there, I can see some light scratches on the left extension leaf and a few much lighter on the main top, I can have this professionally refinished for the cost price Dimensions Height:- 74cm Width:- 60.5cm extending to 104cm Depth:- 54cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
