About the Item

Elegant, finely carved solid cherry wood coffee table, embellished with ebonized details. The design features distinctive curved legs, joined by a molded crosspiece and a curved central base. The legs are also decorated with geometric motifs in ebonized wood. The coffee table features a sliding top that reveals small drawers and shelves ideal for storing small items, as well as a sliding writing surface, upholstered in green leather. The coffee table was originally designed as a work table, but thanks to its leather top, it can also be used as a writing desk. It is a tasteful and refined accessory, capable of adding a touch of class and elegance to any room. Italian craftsmanship, of the Charles X period, first half of the 19th century.
